The manufacturing technique used by "F.lli Levaggi" is still the traditional one, patented by "Campanino" in 1807: everything is handmade, yielding robustness to the chair, but at the same time lightness together with simple elegance, making it suitable for all kinds of furnisher. The wood is carefully selected; cut into planks of different sizes, stacked up outside, in the best way to achieve a perfect natural seasoning. Once ready, after about four years, the components of the chair are extracted from the wood according its natural bending giving to this product its so appreciated robustness. Some parts are perforated with the "mortasa", ancient horizontal drill and then worked out by hand to eliminate even the smallest inaccuracies.
